It is important for Child Welfare Professionals to be able to express themselves in a clear and understandable manner, which will help to decrease misinterpretation, confusion and conflict. In addition, clearly and accurately documenting their efforts can help improve decision-making and outcomes for children and families.

Live Webinar: Impact of Substance Abuse on Child Welfare with Emphasis on medicated Assisted Treatment, Thursday, June 22, 2017, 10:00 am (EST)


This live web event will help Child Welfare Professionals understand the impact of substance abuse on child welfare. They will learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of substance abuse and identify red flags that may indicate abuse in the home as well as learn how to work collaboratively with treatment providers. The web event will introduce medicated assisted treatment with particular emphasis on Methadone and its efficacy.


There will be a Q&A session at the end of the presentation.
