Growing Pains: National Independent Living Conference

 

 

The 28th Annual National Independent Living Conference, “Growing Pains 2015”, September 1-4, Orlando, FL. This is a must-attend event for youth service professionals, independent living professionals and youth aged 15 and up. Growing Pains presenters include experts in the field of independent living who lead training sessions, workshops, panel discussions, and leadership and team building activities dedicated to the needs of youth who are currently in care. There will be more than 18 CEUs available throughout this four day conference.

Position Available at the Center

 

The Center is looking to add a member to our team to enhance our ability to identify and develop quality training to share with Florida’s Child Welfare Professionals. This position requires someone with expertise in Florida’s child welfare system and the multiple specialty areas within child welfare, including child welfare training. We are looking for a candidate who will assist with the identification and development of content for the Center’s online library and has experience in preparation, presentation and facilitation of group meetings or training events.
